WHY INDIGENOUS FIBER MATTERS
The link is the capability. We build it in India.
Fiber-optic FPV and tethered drones only work as well as the spool behind them. Until recently, Indian units depended on imported spools, with foreign lead times, unknown provenance and no guarantee of supply when it matters most. Quantum Tech FPV was one of the first companies in India to change that: we manufacture fiber-optic spools in Pune, test every one on our own link rigs, and fly them on our own platforms. The result is a jam-proof capability with a supply chain India controls.
Manufactured in Pune
Spools are wound, assembled and quality-checked in-house at our Pune facility, in lengths from 1 km to 30 km. Bulk and custom lengths are built to order for defence procurement, without waiting on overseas suppliers.
Every Spool Link-Tested
Each spool is link-tested at 1550 nm before dispatch. G.657.A2 bend-insensitive single-mode fiber, attenuation of 0.3 dB/km or less, payout up to 40 km/h, in silica and Kevlar-reinforced variants.
Jam-Proof by Physics
Video and control travel through glass, not over radio. There is no RF signal to jam, spoof, intercept or direction-find, so our fiber-linked systems keep flying where RF drones are shut down by electronic warfare.
